Sharing and Caring Hands Founder: Mary Jo Copeland - Each year St. MinneSomePlace contributes groceries, cash and fully prepared meals for the homeless at Sharing and Caring Hands. We pride ourselves in preparing and serving our helpings of the now familiar Barometer Soup meal of homemade chili and toasted cheese sandwiches. Each meal is served to over 150 individuals. All ingredients for the meal are provided by St. MinneSomePlace. It is considered one of the most fun afternoons for the staff and residents of Mary's Place. In 2011, we will have served our 14th helping of Barometer Soup! Jimmy Buffett and his SFC Organazition have seen and recognized our service and subsequently donated $10,000 to Sharing and Caring Hands.
